Very comfortable. I wear 13 4E and used to buy New Balance until quality and sizing went down hill.

My daughter goes through a pair of these each year. They are hard to find in her size unless I purchase them at one of her competitions. If I do that, I am going to spend 10% more than the Amazon price. These shoes are not very durable but I think that is by design. The shoes are meant to be lightweight, almost like a ballet slipper. Keeping that in mind, my goal is simply to get a good price when I purchase the shoes and to avoid going to a series of sporting good retailers in hopes of finding that one store that even sells the shoes - let alone one that sells them and has her size in stock. I save myself the trouble now, I just order them from Amazon Prime and they arrive in two days.

Pros:
- Very light, comfortable shoes for kids, and the sole is not so thick that they keep tripping up and falling over. It's flexible and light and gives them enough feel for the ground.
- Nice looking and reasonable quality

Cons:
- These shoes were supposed to be extra wide but they are the width of a normal medium width or even slightly narrow shoe. I bought them because my son has chubby feet. We live overseas and can't find shoes with XW fit so I paid the earth for the shoes plus international shipping (nearly $50 in total). I'm really disappointed as he won't wear them because he says they're not comfortable. Of course they aren't, they are way too narrow!
- The velcro straps which are supposedly for these XW shoes are so short, that they only strap halfway across otherwise they would be even tighter than they already are.

It's not worth paying the return international shipping to return these, so I've kept them but my advice is not to get them if your child has fat feet.

Excellent shoes for the prices. As the arch support goes, I put in my own inserts.

Great look, great fit, easy to put on and off our one year old. Very happy with them :-)

I have had this shoe for about a year and it's still intact! It's perfect for school and is a hard shoe so parents they will not be able to rip it that easily. 100% recommend this product!
